Up on offer here is this iconic very impressive mid-century cast brass, and fine cut-glass table lamp with a large English hand-made Tiffany type-stained, leaded glass shade. Very impressive piece of mid-century lighting. Please scroll through all 12 images for full details and dimensions.

Rare opportunity to acquire something unique to boost your period lighting collection.. Standing at 79 cm tall and weighing in at just under 16.5 LB, this is a very imposing piece. Standing on a large raised brass base with four brass feet. Four decorative waisted brass footed pillars with upper large brass stud buttons. Tall waisted urn-shaped fine cut glass body.

Original 1950s (never previously used) brass "made in USA" Edison screw fit E-17 bulb holder with pull chain switch application. Large brass lockable two-arm shade harp carrier with a rest canopy and upper finial. Large English hand-made fine quality hand-cut & leaded, stained glass shade with very decorative formations.

Lamp has been professionally rewired in period match three-core rubber-coated cable, earthed, tested, and in perfect working order. Original 1930s Karson three-round pin Bakelite plug with its early cord grip system.

This lamp is in great period condition with charming aging patina and (no known faults); level of age-related wear commensurate with its 50+ years of service, some very light surface tarnishing in places, one or two little glass windows (off many many hundreds) have small cracks, but no glass missing.
