This is an outstanding example of the Marshall fields #70450 "Propeller" pattern. Height is 11 3/4" with a maximum 9" bowl diameter. Base is an amazing 6 1/4 diameter and cut with a 24 point hobstar.
Items, in the "propeller" pattern, are typically mold blown or re-cut figured blanks. This vase is completely free blown.Glass is crystal clear with excellent polishing and light refractive properties. Other than shelf wear; this piece is appears to be in factory original condition. This taza vase displays exceptional well. I've taken a couple of pictures, with a 12 oz can next to it; to give some size perspective; including one with a comparison to the base diameter.
Much, much nicer than my amateur photography shows! If you have any questions or need additional pictures; please ask and I'll try to take and/ or answer if I can. Side note: this is an excellent and affordable "propeller" piece for any collection; absolutely no disappointment!! Vase is much better than my photography shows and is quite substantial for height.
I indicate, where its coming from, as either re-sale or collection. Quality of items will range from above average to outstanding.
Most items will be American brilliant with some brilliant period European color as well. I will give as much "known" detail about an item as I can. This will include maker, pattern, quality, any defects and/ or damage.
I can no longer afford to absorb this cost. I want your item to arrive in the same condition as it left. Finally, I will describe items with as much detail and accuracy as possible, but there is a small chance I may miss something minor. This is not a reflection on the condition or quality of any of the items for sale. My feedback is a testament to my customer service, quality of merchandise and honesty.
