This is a lead-crystal bowl/platter which was made in Japan. It is not particularly old, but it is particularly beautiful. The crystal is cut on the bottom side (and edges). It is almost 15 in diameter. The photos you see are taken as the bowl sits atop a cut-glass vase (vase not included in this listing).

The room is dark except for a penlight flashlight with two triple-A batteries.
