Hawkes Engraved Lead Crystal Compote, Sterling Silver Base
Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE! This listing is for a lovely engraved lead crystal compote with Sterling Silver base.
Compote has scalloped rim with engraved stylized flower in each scallop panel and leaf swag around outer border. Marked on silver base "Hawkes, Sterling, 27 PWTS" (pennyweights for silver weight). Measures 3 3/4" high with a 7" diameter top and 3 1/4 diameter base. This nice compote is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and with the silver base reflecting only minimal signs of wear.
