It is 7 1/4" diameter x 3 1/4" high and weighs about 2 lb, 3oz. Cutting is sharp, deep and precise. The glass is crystal clear and is of the highest quality. The polishing looks to be wood wheel and has nice refractivity. I searched several books and catalogs and don't see the pattern identified, but it looks to be an early piece.
