This pattern is shown on several items in the. This exact wine is also shown in one of the cut glass advertising scrape books.
I have included pictures, of the advertisement, in this listing. What appears to be the pattern description, written under the picture of the stem, is indiscernible, however the pattern is shown in the Bergen re-print catalog as Bermuda.
This wine is 8 1/4" high x 2 3/4" diameter (widest part of bowl). The bowl has a slight flare at the rim and the stem is fancy with a tapered hexagonal shape and an interior teardrop. This piece is of high quality; cutting is deep, sharp and precise.
The extra large diameter base is substantial and is ray cut. Weight is a heavy at almost 13 oz.
Base has appropriate shelf wear on bottom. A beautiful red color on bowl! Much nicer in person and much better than my amateur photography shows! If you have any questions or need additional pictures; please ask and I'll try to take and/ or answer if I can. Side note: For clarity and based on the advertisement pictures provided; most likely the blank, for this wine, was provided by Val St.
Very affordable red cut to clear hock wine. I want your item to arrive in the same condition as it left. Finally, I will describe items with as much detail and accuracy as possible, but there is a small chance I may miss something minor. This is not a reflection on the condition or quality of any of the items for sale.
