Antique Moser Czech 2 colour Wheel Cut Lead Crystal Glass PORRON Decanter C1880

  

It is a hand blown antique Porron Decanter, Amber cased, wonderful quality. Beautifully wheel cut and engraved through the amber glass surface to show the clear crysta. It is beautifully engraved with intricate cross hatching and czech wheels.

The cutting is superb quality, with bands of faceted optic cuts on spout, neck and body. The base is star cut, wide and stable, and is raised on a slight inset 1/2 amber foot. The amber stopper is original and very well fitting.

There is a slash cut channel in the hand blown stopper to allow for air flow as the porron is pouring to allow the liquid to come out. Condition: Excellent with no chips or other damage inside or out. Measurements: 9.5 H x 8 W x 4.7 deep. The base diameter is 4, weighs 700g.
