Waterford Decanter Rosslare Retired Vintage Hand Cut Lead Crystal 12.75 Ireland. A heavy, deep-cut lead crystal decanter made by Waterford Crystal, Ireland, the Rosslare pattern was introduced in 1968 and has since been retired. It's a nicely shaped bottle, low and wide with stars and ribs, with a long, graceful panel-cut neck, and hexagonal faceted stopper that is custom-fitted to the bottle. Rosslare is a coastal town in County Wexford, and home to a large seaport and the Europort - the cargo and ferry port to France and England.
It was developed in 1906 by the Great Western Railway. You can catch the train from Waterford City out to Rosslare; it's a lovely ride. Dimensions: 12-3/4" tall x 5-1/4" wide.
