Heavy GOLDEN AMBER Centerpiece Console Compote CUT TO CLEAR Lead CRYSTAL Germany
Is a stunning cut-to-clear footed crystal bowl in a lovely dark GOLDEN AMBER / CARAMEL / BUTTERSCOTCH / HONEY color. Cut into the mouth blown piece are ten hypotrochoid stars above bowties, separated by deep bars and resting atop a band of coin dots. The sides are a sexy 1/4 inch thick. The upper edge has been cut with a fish scale pattern. The bowl rests on a substantial square clear molded pedestal that has been adorned with a star. This heavy full lead (24% PbO) bowl is a vintage piece produced in Bavaria during the 1980s. It is in excellent condition. Nicks, dings, chips nor repairs. Diameter rim: 8 1/4 inches. Base: 5 3/8 inches (measured diagonally).
Weight: 4 pounds, 9.9 ounces. Please be assured that I will pack this piece with the utmost of care in tissue paper and bubble wrap to make sure that it arrives safely in your home. And been scouring the flea markets for over 30 years. I have been mailing packages internationally for longer than that. Beautiful piece of German crystal is sure to please.
